About

Patricia Molina is Director of Tourism and Sustainability at Horwath HTL Argentina, being accountable for the Tourism Projects of Argentina and the region.
She currently works as a consultant for public tourism plans, programs and projects, with strong focus in innovation, trends and sustainable approach. Her deep background in strategic tourism marketing and years of expertise in the public sector as well as working with and for private organizations in product development and mentorship guarantee a thorough understanding of the overall projects and plans in order to enhance their success.
Currently, she is part of the professional executive team in the SME Argentina Confederation Tourism Sector - Confederación Argentina de la Mediana Empresa CAME -, working in development projects, prospective future scenarios and gender issues. In addition to this, she also coordinates the Tourism Triple Impact Business and Circular Economy Subcommission.
Prior to joining Horwath HTL Argentina and besides her consultant activities, Patricia served as Director of Promotion (2009-2010) for the Argentina Institute of Promotion INPROTUR, where she was responsible for the articulation of actions with other areas of government, the coordination and implementation of international tourism promotion strategies, programs and activities in the world, and carried out successfully the first integrated international tourism argentinian campaign “ARGENTINA, beats to your rhythm”.
She also was in charge of the first international know-how transference in tourism quality programs (SICT Buenas Prácticas) between the governments of Argentina and Spain in 2007 and their implementations in the national territory, that involved more than 300 tourism stakeholders along 3 years. She also coordinated the development and implementation of the Tourism Termal Facilities Guidelines during the same period.
With more than 20 years of experience in Tourism, she worked in private companies in El Calafate and Buenos Aires City, had her own consulting firm - Quirón Gestión en Turismo - with focus in marketing plans/projects as well as quality systems, and worked also in the academic sector both as professor and as Dean for the Tourism and Sports Faculty in the UMET, the Metropolitan University for Education and Work. Currently she teaches Digital Marketing in the Tourism Management and Economy Master at the Economic Faculty of the Buenos Aires National University (UBA), Gender Equality and Tourism Public Policies in the Post Degree course Gender Perspective in Tourism Development at the San Martin National University and leads among a group of colleagues a non profit organization that advocate for gender equality in tourism, Mujeres en Turismo AR.
She has a degree in Tourism (Salvador University), a post degree in Management and Leadership (Belgrano University) and currently attending the Public Administration Master at the Economic Faculty of the Buenos Aires National University (UBA). Also, she is a Sustainable Development Goals Advocate.
